The mortgage questions people asked, month by month

Every question in this series is a real one. They are the searches that brought people to this site on Google and Bing, and the questions people asked on the site itself. I clean up the spelling, take out anything personal, and answer each one in a sentence or two, with a link to the full article when you want the whole picture.

A new issue goes up early each month, covering the month before.

Common questions

Are these real questions?

Yes. Each issue is built from the searches that brought people to solverya.com during that month and from questions asked on the site. Nothing is made up to fill a list, and a month with fewer questions gets a shorter issue.

Do you publish anything personal about the person who asked?

No. Before a question is used, everything that could point to a person comes out: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, employers, lenders, dollar figures and dates. What is left is the question itself, written the way anyone in the same spot would ask it.

How often is a new issue published?

Once a month, early in the month, covering the month before. Each issue lists the questions by theme so you can go straight to the part that fits your situation.

Can I ask a question for a future issue?

Yes. Ask it on the site, or call me. If it is something other people are asking too, it may show up in a future issue, with nothing that identifies you.
